When The
Mechanical System Unveil The World
I think, this mecha anime is very very
unusual. The robots (at first, they are
called robot) makes some kind of contract with the pilot. They give the
question “do you want to quit your humanity?”. If the pilot took “yes” answer,
the system will take the blood of the pilot and continue the identify process.
At first, I think that procedures make the pilot can not be replaced by another
pilot. But my thought doesn’t right 100%. The first goal is right too, they can
not be replaced by another person. But actually, the system gives some kind of
virus through the process and make the pilot become some kind of “monster”.
Lately, they referred as holy spirits because they can hijack another person by
bitting their skin. In my mind, its like a vampire race.
The mecha, later called as valvrave, have
unique guide system. They also have the weakness eventhough they have super
power and unique ability. The weakness is so simple. HEAT. If they become
overheat, 100 point, they can not move anymore except the special unit,
valvrave 01, the red one. It can change the limit from 100 to 666 and after
that, it can release the powerfull attack called harakiri blade. It called like
that because it has to stab its core (just like suicide) to release the attack.
In the first season (oh my God, why they
cant finish it in one season), theres five valvrave, 01 red, 03 Yellow (Lightning), 04 Green
(Camilla), 05 Blue and 06 Violet. I think the pilots have very very different
character and that’s very very interesting. They are just student and become
the mecha pilots to protect their friends or just for themselves. I watch this
anime (12 episodes) just in one day (its on holiday). But I feel very sad
because the second season is not over yet. In the end, I can not make a good point
yet for this series.
